Who are we?
	We are the scouts section of 3rd Colwyn Bay (Old Colwyn) Scout Group based in Old Colwyn, North Wales.  We are one of the oldest scout groups in Wales and have just celebrated our 80th Birthday! The group comprises Beaver, Cub and Scout sections and soon we hope to form an Explorer unit for the Scouts to move into. Scouts meet on a Tuesday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm during term times. The Scouts section is for young people, both boys and girls, from the ages of 10 to 15.  Usually during their 14th year, Scouts wishing to continue make the move to Explorers where the fun continues.
	Its not all about knots
	Most importantly its about having fun.  We provide a balanced programme but try to undertake as many outdoor activities that we can. Activities we regularly undertake include Camping, High Ropes, Ice Skating, Kayaking, Race Night, Snowboarding and TreeTops High Ropes (with a vertical drop!!) We undertake activities within the community including remembrance services and the twice yearly soaking when we clean out the stream that runs along the road outside the Scout Hut!
